A Heartfelt Thank You To Our Community
The Hearts for Blue and Gold Benefit Dinner and Gala was a night to remember, and it was all thanks to you. Whether you joined us at the Waldorf Astoria, bid from home, or supported the event behind the scenes, your presence and passion for St. Mary's School were truly felt.
More than $1.61 million was raised, making this our most successful Gala in the school’s history.
To our incredible volunteers, dedicated Gala Committee, and every member of our community who contributed—whether through class baskets, auction items, or support from afar—thank you. Your generosity and commitment make this school truly feel like a family, and your impact was deeply felt by everyone.
With Deepest Appreciation
To our sponsors, especially the McNeil Family (Newport Beach Dermatology and Plastic Surgery) and the Bahrami LaFleur family (Citizens Private Bank): thank you for your early and vital support.

This Year’s Fund-A-Need: Falcon Field & Outdoor Play Spaces
We are thrilled to announce that on the night of the Gala alone, we raised a significant portion of our goal specifically for the revitalization of our Falcon Field and Outdoor Play Spaces. This investment ensures our students have a vibrant space for athletics and community play for years to come.
We are moving quickly to bring this vision to life! We will break ground this June, with the entire project scheduled for completion by the start of the 2026-2027 school year. We can’t wait to welcome our students back to these brand-new spaces this fall!

Special Recognition: Our deepest thanks to Kaylin Martin (class of 2014) for sharing the profound impact of St. Mary’s athletics on her life. We also extend a heartfelt thank you to Denise Helms, her daughters, Mrs. Kristin McDaniel and Mrs. Kim Dzwonkowski, and their family for their foundational contribution to the Falcon Field project. This gift was made in loving memory of Paul Helms III, who believed the sports arena was a "second classroom" where the true foundations of character and integrity are formed.
Supporting The Scholar Program

A huge thank you to Arturo Valdez and Karen Johnson, who donated their parking spots for the upcoming school year. We are astounded by our community’s creativity and are excited to share that 100% of the proceeds from these two highly coveted spots will go directly toward The Scholar Program, further expanding our reach and support for our students.

Save The Date!
Thank you again for your commitment to St. Mary’s School. We are so lucky to have a community that leads with such heart.
We can’t wait to see you next year on Saturday, April 17, 2027, for our next Annual Benefit Dinner and Gala.
