It is with great excitement we share that Falcon Athletics are back! St. Mary’s is currently providing an intramural sports program for our Grade 5-8 students this spring. Throughout the program, our coaches work with students on sport introduction, skill development, game type situations and more. Although we will not be playing other schools, intramurals will be run just like any other year with competitive, fun practices and intense scrimmages at the end of the day/week. Our goals are to:
  • Introduce new sports to student athletes (pressure-free environment)
  • Build upon their current skill set and help develop new skills
  • Build chemistry and character within each grade level
  • Prepare athletes for their following year
The program is structured to allow students the opportunity to participate in as many sports as possible. All practices are based on grade level and co-ed. Each session will be 4 weeks long. In session one student can participate in Volleyball, Soccer and Cross-Country. In session two, students can enroll in Basketball, Football and Cross-Country. There will be a total of 8 practices per sport, each session. Go Falcons!

Welcome to the Nest!

The St. Mary’s Athletic Department would like to welcome you to another exciting athletic school year. We invite you to be part of our Falcon family as an athlete, super fan or team supporter, all are welcome.

Our philosophy is simple: work hard, develop lifelong skills, be competitive and have fun. Athletics teach us much more than X’s and O’s. Athletes learn new skills, develop healthy habits, take risks and learn how to cooperate and interact with others. These are lifelong skills that not only benefit athletes now but help them on their quest to become successful global citizens.

We are all very excited about working with this year’s group of student athletes and look forward to an exciting season. We truly value your support and hope to see you in attendance at all of our events. We look forward to seeing your school spirit for our very own St. Mary’s Athletic Program.
