Rally for the Cure Volleyball Fest
January 31, 2012
St. Mary's School had over 20 students come "Rally" to play volleyball in support of the Rally for the Cure and raising awareness for breast cancer research. All told, the students raised $435, had fun, and supported a noble cause. Local Susan G. Komen Orange County Affiliate volunteer, Annie Stoeckmann, attended the event and was enthusiastic to see the student support. "Thank you for your efforts and commitment to help spread the message through a Rally for the Cure 'Volleyball Fest'. Healthy living through sports and breast health awareness for your school, faculty, parents and young ladies is so critical to spreading the message that early detection saves lives. You guys are awesome,” stated Stoeckmann.
