2012 Speakers Series Kicks Off January 26

The St. Mary's School 2012 Speakers Series kicks off next Thursday, January 26 at 6:30pm with child behavior specialist, Derek Carroll. Mr. Carroll's presentation is focused on "Taming Temper Tantrums" and offers general parenting tips and strategies to refocus unwanted behavior. Very relevant for parents with children of all ages!
Join us for three evenings of profound insights and discussion focused on relevant topics in education and parenting. Derek Carroll completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology and English at Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland and has a graduate degree from Chapman University with a Masters in Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). He is a Child Behavior Specialist and has a number of strategies for early childhood behavior development and eradicating tantrums. Mr. Carroll will be discussing how best to promote more healthy self-control and communication in our children.
