The St. Mary's Story

Mission Statement
St. Mary’s is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School dedicated to inquiry-based academic excellence, developing well-rounded, confident children who flourish in a creative environment founded on Christian values.

School History
Established in 1994 by Father Ernest D. Sillers and a handful of dedicated faculty and staff, St. Mary’s was built on the precept that we can all make a positive difference in the educational life of every child. Based on this educational commitment, the school grew to become an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School with the purpose of educating our children while shaping their hearts and minds to be our next generation of global leaders.

St. Mary's Today
With a rich history and a strong family community, St. Mary's is now under the leadership of our second headmaster John O'Brien.

As the first private primary and middle school in Orange County to offer the IB Programme, the school promotes critical thinking while focusing on developing skills to meet the challenges of a global, technological environment. Coupled with strong athletic programs, extended care, enrichment classes and summer programs, students in Preschool through Grade Eight develop the life-long practice of learning, leading and serving.
