1st Place Winner Equestrian League Represents St. Mary's

Hannah Woolgar, Grade 8 student, represents St. Mary’s in the Orange County Interscholastic Equestrian League. Hannah and her horse McLords Little Milton compete in the Varsity Jumpers division whereby fences are set at 3’3”-1m.

Over 60 private and public schools from Palos Verdes to San Diego compete at The Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park in San Juan Capistrano.

The OCIEL is a publicly supported non-profit corporation operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, to foster regional and national amateur equestrian sports competition. The primary goals and objectives of the League are to encourage a knowledge of horsemanship, stable management, equine anatomy and physiology and to promote teamwork in a fair and friendly competition with young riders from Grades K to 12. The League encourages and supports the efforts of those students and their parents at public and private schools who have made a commitment to the sport. The League promotes the sport as an “Interscholastic Team Activity”.  More shows are scheduled November through January.
