The Middle School grades prepare students to meet the demands of the world while living by the guidelines of respect and responsibility.
The Middle School, Grades Six through Eight, pursues a rigorous academic program in a positive, supportive environment. Students are expected to advance intellectually as they acquire skills and knowledge and learn to relate the content of the classroom to the realities of the world. The students assume increased responsibility for their learning and take pride in their accomplishments.
Our middle years Program encourages students of this age group to think critically and independently, to work collaboratively and to take a disciplined approach to studying. Through the International Baccalaureate Organization, we have developed an approach to learning that seeks to teach students how to analyze information, how to develop, organize and present their ideas. These programs are applied to all the major disciplines.
Our diverse curriculum integrates mathematics, including pre-algebra, algebra and geometry, science, the humanities, geography, Christian studies, world languages including Spanish and French, physical education, health, the arts, music, technology and information skills, plus a rich variety of exploratory and elective opportunities.
