Elementary grade students learn Christian values through a global perspective incorporating mathematics, social studies, drama, language, music, visual arts, science, and computer technology along with personal, social and physical education.
Through these lessons, student learn problem-solving techniques and are inspired to enjoy literacy, and ultimately, to become independent readers and writers.
Achievement and growth are celebrated as students develop academic excellence that prepares them for lives of Learning, Leading, Serving.
This pursuit of excellence includes a strong alliance among child, parent and teacher fosters caring and productive communication to ensure a successful learning experience.
Utilizing best practice methodologies supported by research and developed under the umbrella of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB), our program focuses on the development of the whole child. Our primary goal as elementary educators is to provide a solid foundation as well as create an inquiry based environment for our students.
Our curriculum is structured around the Primary Years Programmes' (PYP) six transdisciplinary themes. These themes are: Who We Are; Where We Are in Place and Time; How We Express Ourselves; How the World Works; How We Organize Ourselves and Sharing the Planet.
